crafts Day Zero driving Etsy moving weight

My Day Zero challenge is over

I’m actually quite pleased to say that the Day Zero challenge I started on the 19 September 2010 has finished. It seems a long time ago but my 1001 days are over. I haven’t quite completed my list but it’s 87% finished, which is good enough.

Time to start something new for me.

This year has been busy with the house move and adjusting to our new life in suburbia. At the beginning of the year I said I wanted to slow down on the blogging front. It’s taken over my life and not in a good way. I appreciate the opportunities it brings but I also resent the time it takes. With two pre-schoolers my free time is limited to the hours between their bedtime and mine, which doesn’t equate to the time I need to do housework, my hobbies or keep up with my blogging commitments.

Yesterday I picked up my first car after passing my driving test last year. Living where we do I really need one to get around, and quite frankly, I feel silly getting the bus at my age.

I’m also on a bid to lose weight and have very kindly been gifted a fitbit by my husband.

The toddler starts pre-school five days a week from September so our life will adjust once again. I doubt I will have any more time as Little Sis is quite demanding. It would be lovely to spend more time together and make use of our crafty supplies, something which has been sadly neglected lately.

Two more things I want to spend more time on. My poor neglected Etsy shop. I bet you didn’t even know I had one. Probably because it’s all waiting to be opened, I just haven’t had the time. I’m also challenging myself to go through my craft book collection and either take unwanted ones to the charity shop or actually use them. I have such a lovely collection and I really want to make more time to do the things I enjoy.

Let’s see what happens!

Well done on achieving so much f the challenge. I’d imagine that both righting a list and achieving some of the items was quite daunting.

It’s a really good idea, would love to think I could do so something like this….you might have started something….

    Thanks for sharing
