Day Zero Gingerbread house finds vintage

A new venture

One of my Day Zero actions was to set up an online shop to sell my vintage finds. I set one up months ago, have boxes full of lovely vintage things to sell but am nowhere nearer to actually photographing and listing items than I was then.

I’m not sure why I thought an online shop would be a good idea. It’s not as if I have oodles of spare time but it would definitely help justify the time and money spent in some of my favourite charity shops!

I have some lovely things to sell and I don’t think my tardiness has anything to do with wanting to hold on to them. Amongst my stash I have some huge vintage union flags, advertising tins, vintage fabrics and notions as well as some fab vintage children’s games I picked up on a recent thrifting trip.

I would love to tick off this action point on my Day Zero list so I will be setting myself some goals to help me on my way. First up will be a moratorium on buying anymore vintage goodies (wonder how long that will last!?). Second, I’ll be choosing my top 10 items to photograph and list. My deadline is the end of the summer holiday so I’ll be all ready to promote my little shop on those cold, crisp autumnal evenings. Wish me luck!
